Our client based in Letchworth are looking for a self motivated and hardworking person to fill the role of Senior Audit Manager.
Responsibilities
- You will work alongside the Head of Audit to run the department, delivering high quality audits to their clients in the SME sector
- You will be supported by the wider audit team to deliver the onsite work
- You will build relationships with the clients so that you are the “go-to” person and will manage their expectations, their audit, and their team to deliver a high quality audit
- You will be developing the team and be a role model
- You will be completing file reviews on a range of audit clients, utilising your existing technical knowledge and experience whilst developing your skills still further and ensuring quality standards are met in the department
- You will also be identifying and delivering added value services to the clients to help them prosper
- You will win new work and convert leads to help the department prosper

Requirements
- You must have senior manager experience in a medium sized practice working SME’s
- Be ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong technical knowledge, eg UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISA’s
- RI qualified or will have obtained RI status within 12 months
- Love developing relationships
- Be tech-savvy, knowledge of CCH would be great
- Have a pro-active approach to tasks whether they are big or small
- Motivated by a fast paced environment
