Duties will include:

  • Assisting in the scale-up of experimental processes from pilot to plant level
  • Supervising and mentoring junior engineers, technicians, and contractors
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Attending site installations and commissioning works (travel to UK-wide sites required)
  • Contributing to R&D and innovation initiatives
  • Preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Representing the company in project meetings and client discussions
Required:
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in process development or plant operations
  • Strong practical knowledge of experimental scale-up and process design
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Willingness to travel to various UK project sites as required
  • A hands-on, problem-solving approach to engineering tasks
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project
  • Knowledge of health and safety principles within engineering environments
What’s on Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £60,000 per annum
  • Company pension scheme and life cover
  • Private healthcare options
  • Professional development opportunities and support towards chartership
  • A dynamic and collaborative working environment
  • The chance to contribute to exciting, sustainability-focused projects with real-world impact
