We are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity for our client based in Letchworth. They are looking for a Payroll Administrator who will be a key member of their small but experienced payroll team and will report directly to the payroll manager. As a payroll administrator you will be required to process a number of client payrolls from start to finish. You will have your own client portfolio but will also work as part of the team. This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll experience to join this superb team. Candidates wishing to study for the CIPP qualification are also welcome.
Responsibilities:
- Processing client payrolls using Staffology software.
- Working to tight deadlines and ability to effectively communicate to clients
- Preparing and processing payrolls, following checklist
- Managing own works schedule
- Checking Auto Run payrolls, Monthly Pension Checker
- Training the team
Ideal candidate
- Eperience working within practice or payroll bureau, although not essential
- Self motivated with goals to progress
- Ability to work independantly as part of a team
- Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast paced environment
